INSPECTRIX are fully qualified to carry out PAT inspections, to ensure that your appliances are as safe to use by testing using the latest equipment.

Appliances and leads will be tested for a variety of faults, and issued a pass or fail label as appropriate.

A certificate of PAT inspection can be produced as well as a full appliance (asset) register which will be compiled and provide you with a document showing all the test results.

INSPECTRIX will carry out minor repairs at the time of testing; for example changing an incorrectly rated fuse or replacing a damaged plug, in order that the equipment is safe to use and can be passed. More significant faults or serious damage will be noted at the time and documented with recommendations.

Every appliance will be checked to ensure it is suitable for the environment it will be used in. The PAT Inspection includes a full visual check to ensure the correct fuse sizing to protect the appliance it serves. Cable connection tightness, cable flexes and conductor terminations are also checked before the actual appliance is tested using specialist equipment. Depending on your individual requirements, Inspectrix offer two options of PAT Inspections. Option 1 is the basic package and Option 2 is the advanced package which may suit specialist companies who would prefer a fuller account and description of each appliance.
